Sabeel’s Ramadan Finale

A Night of Celebration and Gratitude!

As Ramadan drew to a close, the Sabeel community came together one last time, not for competition, but for celebration, reflection, and recognition. The long-awaited Finale Dinner marked the end of this year’s Ramadan Fundraising Campaign for Gaza.

Over 300 students gathered at The Atrium to honour the incredible efforts of every cohort, individual, and supporter involved. The evening was vibrant and heartwarming, filled with moments of joy and humility as the Sabeel family looked back at what had been achieved together.

Guests were treated to a stunning menu of Pakistani and Indian cuisine from the renowned Saffron Kitchen, whose rich flavours and culinary excellence added a special touch to the night.

The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, where certificates, trophies, and exclusive merchandise were presented to the top performers:

  • Top Fundraising Cohort: Sabeel Sisters C4, who dominated the campaign with an astounding total of over £260,000 raised.

  • Highest Individual Fundraiser:
Dr Kiran, who stood out with her monumental effort, raising nearly £100,000 on her own; an achievement that inspired all in attendance.

The event wasn’t just about numbers; it was about recognising sincerity, resilience, and unity in the face of global suffering and the strength that comes from acting together for the sake of Allah.

Our beloved mashayekh, Shaykh Shaqur Rehman and Shaykh Asim Khan, delivered powerful reminders, not just praising the students for their efforts in charity, but also for their spiritual growth. They reminded us all that beyond the fundraising, the true victory was in the hearts that were softened, the intentions that were purified, and the connection with Allah that deepened this Ramadan.

The evening was further elevated by the presence of One Ummah’s CEO, programme manager, fundraising manager, and trustees. They spoke passionately about how the donations have already begun to make an impact, offered guidance on future involvement, and expressed deep gratitude to the Sabeel students for their extraordinary contribution.

The Finale Dinner was a resounding success, filled with joy and gratitude. It was a beautiful conclusion to a month of intense effort and teamwork, one that brought together knowledge, action, and a united front for the Ummah.

We ask Allah to accept all of our efforts, to bless everyone who contributed with sincerity, and more importantly, to grant strength, safety, and divine aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza. May He make us among those who never tire in doing good deeds. Ameen.
