As MRDF’s flagship development project, Sabeel has been setup to attempt to address these issues through a number of educational programs by creating leaders who have a firm grounding of the framework of Islamic principles and discerning ability in applying these principles.

By aspiring to produce firmly grounded Muslim leaders who understand the specific needs of contemporary societies, we believe Sabeel has an important contribution in the articulation of classical Islamic principles in a manner that provides a platform for Islam to be the cure for all of humanities ills.

Sabeel aims to prepare students to live as balanced individuals who hold a strong link with God and possess the tools to understand Islam as a living, viable, and relevant faith, and who represent that faith with dignity, wisdom, and honour.
