Sabeel

As MRDF’s flagship development project, Sabeel has been setup to address Muslim contribution to secular society through a number of educational programs by creating leaders who have a firm grounding in Islamic principles and the ability to apply these principles. By aspiring to produce firmly grounded Muslim leaders who understand the specific needs of contemporary societies, we believe Sabeel has an important part to play in the articulation of classical Islamic principles in a secular society. Sabeel seeks to prepare students as balanced individuals who have a strong link with God as well as posessing the tools to understand Islam as a living, viable, and relevant faith, and who represent that faith with dignity, wisdom, and honour.
